Images of Jewelry can present many challenges. Polished metal surfaces need even, glare-free lighting with control of spurious reflections, yet the same piece may also have cut stones which need bright point sources of light to show their true fire.

Show jury rules and guidelines can be complex and difficult to follow. We make sure that we deliver the image to you, or directly to the Jury, in a format that follows the rules to the letter and presents your work in the best possible way. For some special pieces, or for a catalog frontpiece, it might be worth the expense and additional effort to work with a live model. We can help you select a model who reflects the look you are trying to put together.

Fabric Art

Fabric work requires a rather different focus. Color accuracy is critical. On flat work such as quilts, distortion needs to be carefully minimized. Lines that are straight on the piece need to look straight on the final image. Lighting needs to be even and controlled for color balance.

Lighting and technique are different in subtle ways for closeup, detailed images. Care in preparing the piece, making sure every stray thread and pet hair has been removed, making sure that the texture and fine details are highlighted are critical in showing off your craftsmanship.

Photography Products

Images of your products can be delivered in many different forms. In digital form, we can deliver small images perfect for web based catalog pages. If you are working with a printing house, we can deliver high resolution, color corrected images directly to them. All of our images are shot in digital format, but that doesn't mean you are limited to digital output. 35mm slides are still a favorite of some show juries, and are an inexpensive way to show your objects to advantage.

Postcards with pictures of a favorite piece and an announcement of an upcoming show or sale are a great way to keep in contact with your existing customers. We can deliver a wide variety of such products quickly and inexpensively.
